Kinar features Jaya Prada, Revathi, Pasupathy, Joy Mathew, Indrans, Bhagath Manuel, Sunil Sukhada, Parvathy Nambiar, Anil Nedumangad, P Balachandran, Sudheer Karamana, Sohan Seenulal, Anu Hasan and others.

The last time these two greatest singers sang a song together was 27 years ago was ‘Kaatukkuyilu Manasukkula’ by Isai Gnayani Ilairaaja, for Superstar Rajnikanth and Mammootty starrer Thalapathy directed by ace director Mani Ratnam. In this Ayya Sami song K. J Yesudas has sung the Malayalam lyrics of the song, S.P. Balasubrahmanyam has sung the Tamil lyrics.
